From Saturday 20 April to Sunday June 9, 2013, Museum Het Prinsenhof colors even bluer. The exhibition 'Delft Jingdezhen: The Blue Revolution, 400 years Exchange' is a joint exhibition of Delft and Jingdezhen (China) and shows an overview of the results so far of the artists in residence program between the two 'blue' cities.
The exhibition takes place within the context of 'Delft Ceramics 2013'. It takes you on a journey, not only through ceramics and art, but also through the history of both cities and their 400 years cooperation.
Besides the ceramic objects, much attention is led to the artists themselves, to their experiences and inspirations. The exhibition shows works by a cluster of both Chinese and Dutch artists / designers: Li Jiansheng, Wan Li Ya, Zhang Ling Yun, Pepin van den Nieuwendijk, Tineke van Gils, Pauline Wiertz, Hugo Kaagman, Chris Dagradi, Adrie Huisman, Wendy Steenks and Adriaan Rees.

Happing on Saturday July 6th in Museum Prinsenhof in Delft, the seminar is organized within the framework of the exhibition. We will welcome a special speaker from abroad, Professor Jiang Jian Xin, Director of the Imperial Porcelain Museum in Jingdezhen (China), who is renowned for many publications on Chinese carack porcelain.
