Dutch animation film 'Junkyard' awarded in Shanghai

Dutch animation film 'Junkyard' (by Hisko Hulsing) won the Jury's Grand Prix in the program of Best Animation at the 19th Shanghai TV festival, held June 10-14, 2013. The award ceremony was broadcast on Chinese television, with an audience of 350 million people.

The 2012 production Junkyard has been awarded about 16 times at festivals worldwide. It will also be screened at the Shanghai Film Festival this week.  

 

* The Shanghai TV Festival

 The Shanghai TV Festival, which began in 1986, is one of a handful of festivals in the world combining  awards, program market and forums into one platform. It is one of the most important international platforms in Asian TV industry.
