Going to an unknown country, crossing over to new practices or disciplines in another context, finding the best match to the idea you have in mind… all of this asks for research – and sometimes also guidance.

Did you come across a remotely located artist-in-residence that seems to perfectly suit your artistic practice  at this stage of your career, but you don’t know if it is the right match? Are you an international filmmaker who wants to develop a project in the Netherlands? Or would you as a Dutch programmer like to explore the game and design field in  India with your project?

DutchCulture offers individual meetings in which you can make an appointment with one of our advisors to talk about international work opportunities and practical issues on a global level.

Our service
You can contact us for advice in working with an international artist or cultural professional in the Netherlands – or as a Dutch-based practitioner wanting to go abroad. Furthermore, we can help you find the best match(es) out of over 1.500 residency programs for individual artists (all disciplines).

We are available for 30-min individual consultation at no cost – either in our office in Amsterdam or via Skype or phone. Please note that we prioritize first-time meetings: if you already met with our staff, contact your advisor directly.

How does it work?
We request you to fill in this form, both to help us prepare for the meeting as to allow you to define your question more precisely and get the most out of your individual meeting. In the form you can indicate which of the possible dates suits you the best.

Based on the information you sent, we will be in touch with the date, time and name of your advisor.
